 Cant explain how much I love Averychic's motto! Girls should always remember that confidence is what brings you out from the crowd! Chinese Lantern Festival // Day15 Of CNY

Anyway, here's a post I owed. Haha! Wanted to blog but was too lazy and now Im finally taking my time to blog! Sorry for the MIA peeps! I truly apologize, but you peeps might have already know that I dont usually blog. I only blog when there's advertorial... Will try my best to update alright! I cant promise, because I dont want to lead to any disappointment.

Chinese Lantern Festival also marks the end of the Chinese new year! This years' a little more special, because it falls on 14th of February, Valentine's Day. But sadly, it wasnt special for me! Im in Indonesia, my boyfriend and I did not get to celebrate Valentine this year. But anyway, here's the celebration of my Cap Goh Meh (15th night) in Batam! This year, dad book a table at the Swiss-BelHotel in Harbour Bay. This year wasnt with my family members but it was with dad's friends! So here's some of the pictures!

One of dad's friend's wife! And apparently they stayed in the same complex as us and they stay just behind us. HAHAHA!

 w/ le mom! Apparently she thinks that Im sampat (crazy) for making this kind of weird faces. HAHAHA LOL

 w/ le goddad! He took off his glasses to take picture with me and ended up like this! HAHAHAHA! He couldnt see, maybe this angle helped him to see my screen but he looked like.... ERHEM! I dont want to say out because its mean.

 w/ one of dad's friend that have seen me grow since I was born. He is like a brother to me, he kinda know me well too. Maybe because of his mind set which is just like an teenagers, I mean he is more open up to singaporean teenager lifestyle(?) In simpler words, he is more like a kid than an old man to me. He isnt that old but still old. IDK WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT!?! HAHAHA! Its really been ages since I last saw him, Im glad that this years' cny I've met him a few times. Anyway, we was trying to make his gf jealous by taking this picture. HAHAHA! It was my mom's idea. LAME US, ALL OF US! LOLOL

 

All the food was great! Damn yummy! Especially the Starter, which I couldnt remember the name! There's actually quite a number of food and it kinda filled my tummy before we actually had the last few courses. I didnt take picture of the food because I dont wanna be a burden to not let anyone touch the food before I snap a picture of it! HAHA

Since there's no pictures of food, let me compensate with selfie instead? HAHAHA! My Outfit Of 14th February!

Anyway, I got to met some of my previous schoolmates (PRIMARY SCHOOL! Thats damn long ago!) on that day too! HAHAHA! Although I couldnt recognize them and didnt know their name but they called me up! They were like 'YOU'RE KELLY RIGHT?!' and all I replied was "Yup!" with a smile while trying to figure out who are they ._." Some of them looks familiar but I just dont remember their name! So we was there catching up a bit and exchanging Instagram, while our parent catch up with each others too! HAHAHA. Its a great ending to my chinese new year with great people on that night!

It is also cool the skin making it smooth and fair. It is a kind of wood functioning as natural sunblock, suitable for those with pimples, deep scar, oily skin and dark skin tone. Mauk Mai thanakha gives off lime scent, instead of the original sandalwood scent! It smells so good and gives off freshness.
Here's the direction of usage of the Thanakha! Thanakha has multipurpose! It can be used as facial mask, face cleanser and as well as a face powder!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might already seen the InstaVideo I've posted of my boyfriend helping me to apply the Thanakha Mask! So on Sunday, I went over to boyfriend's place and we tried the Thanakha cream. We applied for each other and there's just so much fun! HAHA. Its suppose to be a comparative review and I want to do a before and after shot for the both of us but I couldnt! Firstly, its because the sun went down and boyfriend's house lighting is bad which made my face looks darker(?) If you know what I mean! If you were to take a picture under the sun and without the sun, there's actually a huge difference! Without good lighting/sun, your picture will be grainy! If thats what you call it! And its obviously darker and you'll look like you have bad complexion. Secondly, my boyfriend is having a bad headache and he was sleeping right after I put his mask. So I didnt get to take picture of his face for the after. So here's the best review I could give, Im trying my best to give you the most descriptive review. So please bare with me, because my english aint good. And I apologize for giving such a lousy review when the product is good! Sigh.

asdfghjkl! My face looks bigger than his! OMG!!!! Im laying on him so my face is definitely not bigger than his face! Definitely wont admit that my face is bigger than his. A big NO!

So we have to add more water than the powder and guess what? I added too much water!!! It didnt turn out creamy! but watery instead! LOLOL! So I had to pour out the water and put in more Thanakha! I think I repeated the cycle for like 3 times or more? I wasted half of bottle of Thanakha! Even when the half a bottle of Thanakha is gone, its not that creamy yet! but its not that watery neither! Its like a paste form for facial cleanse! So we decided to just put it on and stop wasting time and the Thanakha.

After we both washed our face its masked time! Hehehe! Best part of all because I got to do an artwork on his face! LOLOLOL! AND AND HE HAVE NEVER MASKED BEFORE! He keeps on complaining its cold! The mask is suppose to give the cooling effect my dear! HAHAHA! And he keeps on laughing and grinning while Im doing his mask. HAHAHA! So here's him in mask!

 And he helped me masked too! I swear I get kinda annoyed and scared when he smile because I sense something evil in him while doing my mask! HAHAHA! I laughed non-stop and stopped him from masking me because it feels like he is painting on my face! HAHAHA!

 CAN YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MASK ON HIM AND ME?! I do it more evenly on his face! And look at my face!?! WHAT THE!! I have no idea what le boyfriend do to my face!!! HAHAHA
So here's my AFTER! In the first picture you can actually see him in the background sleeping because of his headache!

After the mask, I felt super fresh! I still can remember how the freshness felt! Im so gonna mask using Thanakha again when Im back to Singapore! It just felt so light(?) and calming(?) AHHH! I have no idea how to describe the heavenly feel! Try it yourself!
My face became a lil softer after the mask too! EVEN TILL NOW! Which is 4 days after, I still feel that its smooth!
AND BESTPART! My face became whiter! Because it contains whitening, thats why! HAHAHA! Which girl doesnt wants to looks fair?! I actually did some research of thanakha and they say thanakha can be use from head to toe! But aint sure if this brand could be used from head to toe though!
